I was thinking a competitive Renegade motor could be had for well under $3K (if you stay within the rules).....but I might be wrong.....any Renegade owners care to elaborate?

DISAGREE...........We have about 1200 bucks in our renegade motor.....Won track championship this year, and about 15 races over the last two years.....

We dont have 3000 in our street stock motor neither........It has won a track championship and several races!

Run crate sportsman, count team 11 out! We have far too much built motor stuff!

I see how the legends cars and owm was a bust and now super street has a very small car count.

How bout it Clint? take another gamble but you can take this one to the bank, this is one decision you wouldnt regret

Cheapest class?????? we havent spent 3000 on an engine yet!!!

Also remember not everyone has acess to junk yards like you guys do and not all guys have so much built motor stuff laying around to slap a motor together for nothing. What about the guy who dont know how to build a motor and has to pay someone else to put it together? These few reasons here have kept sooo many people from getting into racing or continuing to race.

A 602 will run several season without having to be rebuilt if you dont abuse it. So you gotta look at $3000 getting you thru more than one season possibly 3 before even needing to be rebuilt. I know the point is gonna be brought up that "well you can blueprint them and make more power". Go ahead and waste your money I've outran the best blueprinted motors out there with a box stock one and im not the only one who has. There just isnt enough hp to dig out.

I aint saying you got to run the class, and by no means am I shoving it down peoples throats just would like to see Carolina race this divison. I know more drivers that will be there if they run it than the car count in the super street class. Just something for the Owners to consider doing.
